Peanut Butter Caramel Sauce

1. Over a low heat in a medium saucepan, combine peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract and stir often.
2. Once the consistency is similar to a sauce, add in the heavy cream.
3. Remove from heat and pour caramel over apple slices, ice cream sundaes or iced coffee drinks.
4. Store in therefrigerator. If consistency is too thick, microwave for 15 seconds.
